POSTPONED – POSTPONED Select Schools Ireland are delighted to offer a series of nine online academic training sessions aimed at international teachers, group leaders and those academic staff involved in organising and accompanying student groups to Ireland. This month it will be the turn of Paul Brennan, Emerald Cultural Institute – Dublin to present the session.

About The Online Trainer – Paul Brennan:

Paul is a teacher, trainer, and digital librarian at Emerald Cultural Institute and has taught all ages from primary to adults for over a decade. He has curated the school’s digital library of materials, and he is responsible for the maintenance of classroom technology. He describes his teaching method as ‘productive fun’, and is eager to give classes that are enjoyable and effective. He has been training teachers at primary and secondary schools for many years, with subjects ranging
from songs & games to immersive English classes, from technology to learner autonomy. His job mainly involves problem solving and implementing improvements. He is especially interested in small, incremental changes that are highly effective. This is as true of his teaching as it is of his administrative work. In his teacher training sessions, he is always on the lookout for manageable changes that make a difference for teachers and students.
